About DCC

A consultancy built on trade-grounded judgement.

Defender Corrosion Control is led by Managing Director Nicholas Riley, an AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (Cert No. R-13396) with deep field experience across Defence, marine, and heavy industrial assets. We are based in Henderson, Western Australia — at the heart of Australia's defence shipbuilding precinct, within reach of every major Pilbara, North West Shelf, and RAN sustainment program.

The business is built on a simple idea: the best coating and corrosion decisions come from people who have been on the deck, in the dry dock, and on the plant — not just in the manual. Whether we're verifying a coating system, investigating a failure, or mentoring a contractor through a difficult shutdown, our focus stays the same: engineering protection, ensuring performance.
